Would you call yourself a fan of Drifting? If so, you probably would try and watch the events any way you can. Regrettably, just like a lot of other pro events, races only happen every so often and in certain locations. That's why some fans will find it hard to get their drifting addiction satisfied. If this sounds like you, not to worry - you do have a few different options available for watching Formula D events or other drift programming.
Not every fan has the ability to watch a Formula D broadcast. A reason for that is the G4 has been stereotyped as a niche channel. It is not a part of a lot of standard programming packages. Actually, a lot of cable or satellite providers want you to buy one of the more expensive packages in order for you to get G4TV and not everyone could afford that. Nevertheless, as long as you have a computer with internet access, you should be able to watch Formula D programming by using Apple's iTunes.
There's a pretty good chance you have heard that name before from advertising on TV, radio or internet. This software gives you the ability to lawfully download copyrighted material such as movies, music, TV shows, music videos and pod casts. A pod cast is a subscription based service and the good thing about it is that it's free. One of these podcasts is focuses solely on Formula D and presented by G4TV. Basically, this tells you that you can freely watch these shows without paying anything for it.
After you install iTunes, use the search option in iTunes to look for Formula D podcasts. The keywords you want to use are Formula Drifting, Formula D of Drifting. Once you have the results - choose the ones you want to download and the rest is automatic. G4 wants to expand on the number of available podcasts, but right now there are about a dozen of various casts available. Besides including clips from the past events, they also have other areas of interest like information on drivers, cars cooling systems and such. Most podcasts are about two minutes long.
In case you do not have iTunes installed already, here's how. After opening your browser of choice, type in www.itunes.com and follow directions to your operating system download link. You might be pleasantly surprised that there's no extra fee for the program. However, if you do decide to purchase a song or an album, there will be a price to pay, but those are clearly labeled.
Even though these podcasts are pretty small in size, you can still enjoy them. If you'd like to find out more about the sport or just to enjoy the show - we prompt you to take a look at Formula Drift podcasts that are readily available through iTunes.
